Ossuary
05:42
|
|||
All the pain I have beheld
Has lain the bricks and columns
Of this horrid, grotesque palace
My shrine, my throne
I wander into the darkness
through the gates of the ossuary
The ground shakes; thunder roars behind me
The gates have shut forever
Many bones have gathered here
Shelved on these stone walls
Built of silt and broken minds
My memories fill these halls
the void that i cling to
i save it for you
Your bones shall dress my mantle
your cadaver's throne
The skulls depended from these walls
fill me with such content
Memories of our past
The source of all contempt
Never mind the shutting gates
Come and join me here
Acquaint yourself with the skeletons
They you should not fear
no!
the void that i cling to
i save it for you
Your bones shall dress my mantle
your cadaver's throne
I drag you down
Into my ossuary
Now you fill my void
remain here,
shattered forever

Within this hall of brick and brass
Accented with oil
The walls and smoke constrict my mind
Through my daily toil
Countless souls were lured here With fortune in their hearts Into this church of madness From which none shall depart
I fear this shall be my last task
An undertaking to the grave
Blast furnace; The mouth of hell
I am to feed the beast
Powering massive machines
The genesis of nightmares
An endless filthy, blackened rain
Of ash and soot expelled From smokestacks
piercing heaven
Rising from this hell
Suffocate from the ashen breath of mortal machines
Enshroud the earth in a man made darkness
Turn the gears
Hear the screams
An empire built on the limbs of orphans
Within the heart of the empire
Surrounded by a maze of claustiphobic alleys
A grand cathedral overshadows all
Billowing smoke and churning out misery
The necrosis of the earth for the progress of man
An ever expanding tumor now aided by my hand

The Outlaw
05:37
|
|||
In wastes alone, with heavy heart,
A remnant nation torn apart.
From past of glory to present strife,
Future guided by point of knife.
The outlaw
Rides again
His rifle
In hand
Toward a
Setting sun
The path
Of the gun.
A howling wind blows
Through fanged teeth.
A lonely path
Passing beneath.
Unshaken by one hundred blasts,
Calloused hands grasp reins of leather.
Curious how long he’ll last,
What mortal trials he’ll stand to weather.
Men of law stalk trace of heels,
Deep and stoic in auburn sand,
Following an unknown weal,
To an end: soldering bullet’s brand.
The outlaw
Rides again
His rifle
In hand
Toward a
Setting sun
The path
Of the gun,
Endless.

Do you feel the rumble
The sound of your demise
These rails your deathbed
Let out your final cries
Thunderous steel
Great metal wheels
And smoke that taints the heavens
Scream and plea
Beg to be free
You've only one last hope
Turning Pistons
Billowing Steam
Fueled by fire
A dreadful machine
A ransom never paid
You you're father failed
Driven by spite i leave you here
Though I'm not the dastard!
Now my dear
Scream at me
As you meet your iron fate!
Do you see
It draws near
An industrial monster!
Closer still
What a thrill
Still I'm not the dastard!
Hear it comes
Drawing Near
Upon you now
That dreadful machine

Halls of Extinction
06:11
|
|||
Mankind's hubris and ignorance
Forging clouds of black
A noose of smoke and soot
Prepared for global suicide
Our only home
Abused and slaughtered
A wasteland left
For our sons and daughters
Halls spanning back through endless years
A testament to the fleetingness of life
A corridor in these halls empty and unmarked
Reserved for man
We erect a grave
Among the stars
A planet
Of the dead
Here I have a doomed prediction
We shall be displayed in the halls of extinction
And here I make my doomed prediction
We shall be displayed in the halls of extinction

Misotheism
04:23
|
|||
From the ashes that were once your salvation
I watch rise before me
A phoenix of desolation
One who will never be reigned again
You were the light of my pain
Now your will defied
I am free through her flame
From your love so cold
Raze the gates
Burn the despicable heavens
Spare no lord
Liberate my soul
I am Godless
Forever
You were the light of my pain
Now your will defied
I am free through her flame
From your love so cold

Descent Into Madness
08:41
|
|||
This bitter drink
A dreary friend
A companion
Until the end
My eyes are shut
Yet you remain
In lightless shrouds
And vivid pain
Alone
But not silent
The Cawing Crows
Are still present
These friends
Such graceful things
Proud and dark
With graceful wings
And here
This bitter drink
My bitter love
I shudder to think
Come to me
I wish you here
Give me that tainted hand
I’ll wait for you
My lonely dear
Six feet above these sands
This Despair
It shall not set
It shall not overcome
But here I wait
In hopeless thought
Allergic to the sun
Overbearing grief
Has struck me at my core
Nepenthe in my hands
Can free me no more
I embrace this light
I embrace the pain
These grim and somber sights
Where my dear has lain
But still I sit alone
Seeing with eyes closed
These specters bearing truth
With painful, pleasant sighs
We two have parted ways
Though once intertwined
Miserable and wretched soul
And fragile, grieving mind
My eyes still shut
You still remain
In lightless shrouds
And vivid pain
Help me escape
This dreadful place
Stretch out your hand
Show me your face

Your Tomb, My Kingdom
07:08
|
|||
Sore and tired I have been made
I now indulge the sick
When I lay your body down
I place upon my head, this crown
The constant weight of grief
Holds me till I drown
Beneath these waves so dark
My Empire holds me down
There’s nothing left in here
Save for the pain I feel
The only cure I see
Your life I must steal
I shall not rest again
Not till my task is done
The Earth shall swallow you
Touched never by the sun
Never again touched by the sun
my heaven
your hell
Your Tomb
My Kingdom
And now I have been left alone
Broken by the world
For I have lain your body down
And all I have left is this wretched crown

Immortal Orchestra Weston, Florida
We are the cawing of the crows that sit atop the leafless trees, and the morose beating of the wings of skulking vultures. We are the grandeur of the greatest cathedral and the humility it conveys. We are the storms that comfort you in your darkest hour, blotting out the hideous, mocking sun. We are the laudanum in your hand and the absinthe in your throat. We are the Immortal Orchestra. ... more
